Individual Therapy for Adults
I work with predominatly with young adults and working professionals, as well as adults navigating the transition to retirement.
I see therapy as a highly collaborative and individualized process, centering on the establishment of a trusting, warm bond. Therapy is a means of enhancing awareness and promoting self-discovery, with guidance and feedback from a provider who is objective, curious, and flexible.
I strive to understand the unique and multifaceted contributors to each client’s distress or sense of disconnection, stuckness, or loss and to help my clients acknowledge points of difficulty or suffering, cultivate acceptance, and focus attention on opportunities for growth, often beginning with subtle and gradual change.
