It’s time to get unstuck
Taking the first step…
Maybe an underlying fear or lack of motivation has become the norm. Or perhaps you’re being confronted with too many demands and feeling burnt out. You remember a time when you felt more connected to yourself, but you’ve been craving the space to obtain more clarity on your priorities and reconnect with your most salient values for a while now.
How might it feel to have the self-understanding and tools to change the situation?
Your circumstances are unique. I prioritize crafting a highly individualized plan, focused on making identifiable progress toward your specific goals.
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with a holistic, trauma-informed approach to treating anxiety and emotional dysregulation. I’m passionate about increasing awareness of the mind-body connection and empowering clients to make choices that serve their overall well-being.
I strive to help others show up authentically in each facet of their lives. I also believe in the healing power of compassionate, direct, and feedback-informed care.
As an integrative therapist, my approach draws largely from relational and humanistic therapies. I believe in the importance of integrating components of physical and emotional health, in an effort to work towards optimal, mindful functioning.
In session, I routinely apply principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I also draw from Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) when working with clients managing OCD and other anxiety-related issues.
My aim is to help my clients achieve a higher level of awareness and self-understanding. I acknowledge and promote existing strengths, and also challenge client’s to continue to build skills and expand their repertoire of responses to stressful situations.
Some clients I work with include:
Motivated working professional managing feelings of self-doubt and habitually comparing self to others, perhaps over-thinking daily decisions
People-pleaser feeling over-extended managing requests from friends or peers and demands from family
Perfectionist struggling with body image issues and seeking to learn more tools and strategies for challenging an active and rigid inner critic
Achievement-oriented young professional grappling with a lack of values alignment in the current career path and entering a period of exploration, in order to move forward with confidence
Passionate student, feeling overwhelmed by social, academic, and personal commitments, and noticing a pattern of procrastination
Insecurely attached young adult looking for insight into long-standing behavioral and communication patterns that are interfering with the healthy progression of a romantic relationship
Socially anxious individual looking to enhance interpersonal effectiveness skills and broaden strategies for regulating intense emotions, in order to cultivate deeper connections
